TLDR;
Create a menu card on
Sweep and download your QR code

There are a lot of benefits to using a QR code as a menu card.

  1. Your customers don’t have to wait.
  2. You can keep the menu up-to-date
  3. You can use the QR code image file all over.
  4. Better hygiene. The physical card isn’t turned around by people.

And the list goes on.

But there is a challenge. Scanning the QR code, the menu card can be shown in many ways. I’ve seen it as an image, PDF file, restaurant's website, link to download on the App store and many more different solutions. But is this necessary, when all you want, is to see what's on the menu?

Whenever it is an image, it is not mobile-friendly. You have to zoom in on the title of the dish, zoom out, and back to see the price etc. It doesn’t work that great on smartphones. The same goes for PDF files.

And when it opens the restaurant's website, you typically have to find out, where the menu appears on their site. This can also be challenging.

And do you want to download an app, just to see the menu before ordering?

We are facing these QR codes as menu cards more often now. And I like the idea!

To solve the challenges mentioned above, I decided to make my very own solution. A simple, mobile-friendly, menu card. And it is even very easy, for the restaurant to create and maintain.

And since this is brand new, it is free and will always be for the first users. Just to see if it works.
So hurry up, add your restaurant, bar or café and feel free to give me some feedback about how it works or any wishes from you.
